Day 1: Delhi – Kathmandu

  • Transfer to Delhi airport
  • Arrive at Kathmandu airport
  • ransfer to your hotel
  • Rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight at the hotel

In the morning, pick up from the hotel and transfer to Delhi International airport to board your flight for Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel for check in.

NEPAL – the world’s only Hindu Kingdom, is a mystical country nestled in the folds of the magnificent Himalaya mountain ranges. The people of Nepal can always be seen to be smiling.  Nepal is a deeply religious country, as you will see in their temples and buildings. The Nepalese culture is very diverse from India and at the same time is also very similar in many aspects. 
Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : In Kathmandu

  • Optional: Morning flight to Mount. Everest
  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning visit the city and Swayambhunath
  • Afternoon visit to Patan and Tibetan Refugee Camp
  • Overnight at the hotel

Enjoy early morning Optional Mountain flight to Everest. Later return to the hotel and proceed for breakfast.   Morning breakfast at the hotel and then proceed for a half day tour of Kathmandu city & Swayambhunath.

Kathmandu City : Known as Kantipur, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kashtamandap - the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty.

Swayambhunath : Located approximately 4 kms., this Buddhist Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.
Afternoon visit Patan and Tibetan Handicraft centre  

5 kms away from Kathmandu City, Patan also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd Century AD by Emperor Ashoka. You will see the Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar which houses a bronze collection, the Krishna Temple built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavir and Mahaboudha Temple.

A trip to the Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Handicraft Centre will also be done while visiting Patan, where you will witness the hand weaving of Tibetan carpets and molding of metal statues. Overnight at the hotel.

Optional –Mountain Flight to Mt. Everest (Subject to Weather conditions)

Early morning you’re off to a dramatic start with an exhilarating early morning mountain flight. Soaring over hills and mountains until the snow peaks come into view. Flying for 45 minutes over mountains broken by deep gorges, glacial valleys and lakes until you see the unmistakable Mt. Everest, not just the world’s highest peak, but the mountain revered by the Nepalese people as ‘Sagarmatha’, the Mother of the Universe.

Day 3 : In Kathmandu

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Half day excursion to Bhadgaon, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath
  • Afternoon at leisure
  • Overnight at the hotel

After breakfast leave the hotel for half day tour of Bhadgaon, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath.

Bhadgaon - Also known as Bhaktapur, meaning city of devotees, this place is the home of medieval art and architecture. Lying 14 kms. east of Kathmandu City, this place was founded in the 9th Century and is shaped like a conch shell. The city is at the height of 4600 ft. above sea level. In Bhadgaon,you will visit the Durbar Square with its array of temples overlooked by the Palace of 55 windows built by King Bupatindra Malla. The Nyatapola Temple, also built by King Bhupatindra Malla,is the best example of Pagoda style.

Pashupatinath - Situated 5 kms. east of Kathmandu City, Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river, the temple built in pagoda style has gilted roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of Bagmati river, entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. Pashupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the temple are the cremation grounds.

Boudhanath - This Stupa, 8 kms. east of Kathmandu City, is one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behaviour and human prosperity. This Buddhist Stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. The shrine is ringed by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priest. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Leave Kathmandu – Delhi / Delhi

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Transfer to the airport.

Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon transfer to airport to board the flight to Delhi / Delhi. Met upon arrival in Delhi/ Delhi for another trip / transfer to the hotel / own arrangements
